Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon & Medical Doctor
Mr. Dheeraj Karamchandani is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with a substantive NHS appointment at University Hospital Coventry and Warwick. Fellowship-trained and internationally recognised, he specialises in Rhinology, skull base surgery, and facial plastics, and leads a busy adult and paediatric practice encompassing all aspects of general otolaryngology.
A graduate of the University of Birmingham (MBChB, 2003), Mr Karamchandani is the Chair of SFO UK, part of ENT UK, where he plays a key national role in undergraduate and postgraduate ENT education. He is also a Royal College of Surgeons College Tutor, and serves on the faculty of multiple national and international courses, contributing to the training of the next generation of ENT specialists.
He runs both a regional olfactory disorders clinic and a tertiary complex ENT clinic, with special expertise in managing conditions such as nasal polyps, loss of smell, septal deviation and perforations, allergic rhinitis, hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, and snoring. His NHS and private practices are known for a thorough, evidence-based, and compassionate approach.
Mr Karamchandani also leads Midlands ENT, his private practice offering expert ENT care across the region. With a growing interest in digital health and patient education, he is currently developing a platform to improve access to specialist ENT care and guidance for both patients and GPs.
